Integrate with Google Analytics


Ontray allows you to connect your store with your Google Analytics account. Quickly gain insight into:

Integration Instructions

  1. If you don’t already have one, create a free Google Analytics account.

  2. Once you have an account find your Google Analytics Tracking ID it should look something like ‘UA-XXXXXXXXX-X’.

  3. Enter your tracking code into the ‘Analytics’ section of your store’s dashboard. You’ll find this setting under the ‘Store Settings’ tab.

  1. Next, head back to Google Analytics to turn on Ecommerce tracking, To do so, go into the ‘Admin’ section of your Google Analytics account and select ‘Ecommerce Settings’.

Click ‘Admin’ then ‘Ecommerce Settings’

  1. When viewing your Ecommerce settings, turn the Ecommerce and Enhanced Ecommerce Settings on. Then label the first step of checkout as ‘Payment Details’. Click ‘Submit’ once your screen matches the screenshot below.

Enable both Ecommerce and Enhanced Ecommerce and label the first checkout step.

That’s it! Analytics should start appearing in your account within 24 hours.
